About

Mina Marković is an image-based artist situated in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Master of Arts in Photography Preservation and Collections Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, both from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).

With her fine art projects, Marković is fascinated by questions of identity and memory; often creating works which examine how the two are shaped by heritage, location, history, and the present. More recently, she has begun utilizing fragmentation in relation to the still and moving image in order to further investigate personal histories. Her work has been featured in a number of exhibitions and publications, including at Akasha Art Projects, Artspace TMU, and Propeller Gallery.
